What "suggest a price" means

Zoom2u is a platform that connects customers with independent drivers. When you book a delivery, the platform shows an automatic quote. If you would rather set your own figure, you can suggest a price instead. Your suggested price is then visible to independent drivers on the platform, who can choose to accept it or place a bid on the job. You stay in control: nothing is locked in until you accept a price you are happy with.

How does it work?

1. Log in to your Zoom2u account, start a booking, and fill in the booking details for your delivery.
2. At the bottom of the booking, select the option to suggest a price.
3. Enter the price you want to offer in the price suggestion form.
4. Submit your booking. Your suggested price is shared with independent drivers on the platform, and bids start to come in.
5. When a driver accepts your suggested price, or you receive a bid you like, accept it and your delivery is on its way.

Why suggest your own price?

• You set the budget. Put forward a price that suits the job rather than taking the automatic quote.
• Drivers choose to take it. Independent drivers decide whether to accept your price or bid, so jobs that work for both sides get matched.
• No commitment until you accept. You only confirm once a price and driver suit you.

Good to know

Drivers on Zoom2u are independent contractors who run their own delivery work through the platform. A very low suggested price may take longer to attract a bid, while a fair price tends to get picked up faster.
